The Ellora Caves, a two-kilometre long collection of unique architectural masterpieces near Mumbai, India, were created between the 6th and 10th centuries. The most impressive of the 34 UNESCO World Heritage Site structures is known as the The Kailash (pictured). In fact, an amazing 200,000 tonne of rock was removed with mere hammers and chisels to carve the megalith!
