James Silva (Mark Wahlberg) is an operative of the CIA’s most highly prized unit. He is tasked with smuggling an informant, who holds classified information, out of the country. Assisted by a top-secret tactical command unit, Silva must safely retrieve the asset and transport him from the city centre to an airport 22 miles away, and onto a getaway plane, but corrupt police officers, armed locals and crime lords are standing between them. Wahlberg stars with John Malkovich and is directed by long-time collaborator Peter Berg ( Deep Water Horizon). This film leaves audiences hoping for a second instalment.
