Book of Friends

Having changed jobs five times in my 46-year working life, I have many contacts and am now maintaining three address books. When memories of lost acquaintances come to mind, I start going through the pages of these books and images greet me recalling events of bygone times. Address books are unique (‘The Joys of Keeping an Address Book’, May), just one glance at a name brings to mind many memorable incidents related to that person. PARVEZ RAHIM
