While visiting the charming medieval city of Sibiu in Transylvania, Romania, you’d be forgiven for feeling you were being watched. Sibiu is famous for its almond-shaped windows – the ‘city’s eyes’ or ochiuri ale orasului. History books show the city has been inhabited since 300 BC and its eerie eyeballs are a local attraction.
