Reader's Digest Asia Pacific - - Wellbeing -

This novel sets up aristocrat Frieda von Richthofen, who was the inspiration for Lady Chatterley’s Lover, as its enticingly flawed heroine. Trapped in a rushed marriage, Frieda’s life is unexpectedly transformed when she meets the broke yet captivating writer D.H. Lawrence. Their scandalous affair broke the boundaries of sexual freedom in England in 1912 and was the awakening for the creation of the famous novel which was banned in England for more than 30 years.
