At a shopping mall, I watched as a man was approached by a kiosk vendor. “Excuse me, can I ask you a question?” said the vendor.

I like walking into a shop and immediately realising it’s too fancy but pretending to look around for a few minutes for the benefit of the salesperson, who already dislikes me by default. @sarahclazarus
