Mick Jagger was born on July 26, 1943, in Dartford, England. Together with his childhood friend Keith Richards and second guitarist Brian Jones, the singer founded the Rolling Stones, playing their first gig in London in 1962. With hits such as ‘(I Can’t Get No) Satisfacti­on’, ‘Street Fighting Man’ and ‘Paint It Black’, the band achieved worldwide fame. The Jagger/Richards songwriter team is one of the most successful of all time. Jagger has been married twice and has eight children from five relationsh­ips. In 2003, he was knighted for his ‘services to popular music’. Since then he enjoys the title Sir Michael Philip Jagger.
