HOW TO STYLE A BED

“The ‘just got out of bed’ look is actually quite hard, I hate to say!” Phoebe says. “Our tribe of stylists and assistants broke up into separate rooms to style beds in advance, as they can often take more than an hour to get right. The looser the look, the harder the styling… Styling for the camera is always harder though – if you’re wanting to achieve this at home, opt for linen bedlinen where possible (linen is just made for loose, undone beds) and keep some movement, but don’t go overboard or it will just look messy. Also, we choose to use feather quilts and cushions as they give a premium, more luxurious look. Polyfill inners can flatten quickly and look tired much sooner than you’d like!”

Where to buy

The Sage x Clare French flax linen range costs from $285 for a queen quilt cover and is available from Greenhouseinteriors.com.au

Nice ’n’ cushy “With bed cushions I like to play to the rule of odd numbers, so three or five, depending on how full you like it to look.”

Team eats “Warrandyte has recently been blessed with Aumanns Produce Store, a true foodie’s heaven. We ate well! Fruit platters, sourdough, salads – and caramel slice.”
