SPIDERS KILLER MACHINE

Seriously catchy classic rock from Sweden

The Gothenburg rockers’ third album builds on their classic rock sound – based around the powerful vocals of Ann-Sofie Hoyles – with an album of hook-laden, riff-heavy, pounding psychedelic hard rock. They’re not reinventing the wheel here, but the band take every trick taught to them by the greats into the studio with style and originality, and get a great old-yet modern sound on pacey barnstormers like ‘Shock and Awe’, ‘Burning For You’ and ‘Take What You Want’, while ‘So Easy’ has a trippy ’60s garage rock feel and the stand-out ‘Dead Or Alive’ is catchy as hell.
