Rhythm - - BEAT! -

I would describe my drumming style as...

“Rhythmically technical, fast and groove orientated.”

Self-taught or lessons?

“Self taught from books (I still haven’t finished Buddy Rich’s SnareRudiments), as well as watching and listening to some of my favourite drummers play, like Mike Portnoy and Chris Adler.”

What’s the best drumming advice you’ve ever been given?

“Speed and technique go hand in hand.I practise techniques like heel toe, which makes it easier for me to play at speed. And I always use a metronome for practising and live performances, it makes tracking a lot easier!”

What are you/your band currently up to?

“Watch out for our new single, ‘Dragged Into Hell’, from our second full-length studio album coming out later this year. Out of the studio, we’re also gigging regularly, supporting bands like The Faceless, Suffocation and Car Bomb, with some upcoming festival slots.”
