Metallica back for 2019

Rhythm - - BEAT! -

Metallica have announced a huge run of UK and European shows for 2019.

The biggest heavy metal band on the planet return to these shores for a slew of shows in terrifyingly huge venues from 1 May 2019 onwards.

After a run of European shows, Lars and the boys will land in the UK. They kick off proceedings at the frankly ridiculously huge Etihad Stadium in Manchester before journeying on to the equally enormous Twickenham Stadium in London.

Following on from the UK shows, the band head back onto the continent, putting on shows in Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Russia, Estonia, Romania, Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland. They round it all off with two more shows in Germany, after which Lars will presumably have nice long lie down.

As has been the case with the majority of the band’s World Wire shows, every ticket purchased includes a choice of standard physical or standard digital copy of the band’s 10th and current album, Hardwired… To Self-Destruct. Support on these shows comes from the already-iconic Ghost and the hotly-tipped Bokassa.
