Driverless trucks roam underground mine

Four driverless Volvo FMX trucks will be tested in 2017 in the Bolliden mine of Sweden 1 km below the ground. The trucks feature radar and laser sensors that scan and map out the narrow surroundings, so the trucks know where and how fast to go.
