If you keep to the diet, you will lose weight and reduce the risk of other conditions. People put on weight after the diet, and the fluctuatio­ns might be harmfull.

EFFICIENCY:

If the calorie intake is reduced, as you maintain your normal activity level, you could lose 0.5 kg per week.

DIFFICULTY:

Hunger makes the diet extremely difficult. Half drop out after three months, and only one third continue for six months.
