ASTEROID SENDS GLASS DROPS TOWARDS THE SKY
The asteroid collision makes the rock of the ocean floor melt, and some 40,000 cubic kilometres of molten rock are flung into the atmosphere in the shape of glass droplets. The glass drops are carried throughout the world, and some of them even end up in space, where they travel probably as far as Jupiter.
