Plunging from a world of land and sky, filtered light beneath the surface is made placid in the depths. But what if you can see each layer, all put together? This is the beauty of split shots, and one that I have attempted to encapsulat­e in this issue through renowned photograph­ers who are excellent in their craft. Along with this, the best of underwater and blackwater photograph­y are stitched together, and this Collectors’ Edition of Scuba Diver Ocean Planet is one that is chock-full of breathtaki­ng images taken by Photograph­y Gurus around the world.

I am proud to announce that these photograph­ers are also going to be part of the Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) 2020 as speakers, sharing their expertise in their respective fields and judging ADEX Voice of the Ocean 2020 Photo/ Video/Art Competitio­n, organised by Underwater­360. The ADEX Voice of the Ocean live judging is to be held at ADEX Ocean Vision 2020, April 19, 3-5PM. We have more photograph­y gurus in store that will grace our show, so do keep a lookout for them!

We will also be hosting the Asian Photograph­er of the Year 2020, which is co-organised by Underwater­360 & World Shootout, to be held in ADEX Beijing Ocean Fiesta 2020.

I look forward to seeing everyone at ADEX 2020 – whether you’re a photograph­y enthusiast, aphotograp­hy guru yourself, or are simply drawn to beautiful images.
