Song Da has an exceptional ability to blend colour and light in underwater macro photography, and produces lively underwater photographs that portray unique perspectives.
His longtime interest in exploration has led him to pursue and specialise in blackwater photography. To him, blackwater photography is a captivating medium through which these sea creatures are seen, and a great blackwater photograph is as breathtaking as the galaxies in the night sky. He has won numerous awards in various international photography competitions and his works have been exhibited in
Venice, Italy; the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, USA; and the Natuurmuseum in the Netherlands. His photographs have also been published in many prestigious magazines around the world.
