Earth is a blue planet, with the ocean ac­count­ing for 70 per­cent of the Earth’s sur­face. The ocean is a trea­sure trove of re­sources, and is cru­cial to the sur­vival of mankind. Over the years, our liq­uid planet has been sub­jected to var­i­ous de­grees of pol­lu­tion, in­clud­ing – but not lim­ited to – the reck­less dump­ing of sewage and garbage, and over­fish­ing.

In the face of such ad­ver­sity, peo­ple around the world have in­creas­ingly mo­bilised to help im­ple­ment mea­sures in pro­tec­tion of the ocean. To en­cour­age and pub­li­cise such move­ments, we will be hold­ing an awards cer­e­mony at ADEX Bei­jing. We hope to raise aware­ness of the im­por­tance of con­ser­va­tion by pre­sent­ing suc­cess sto­ries, and in­tro­duc­ing role mod­els. OCEAN360 Awards Cat­e­gories:
