Mitchel­ton will cel­e­brate all things horses, fash­ion, fine food and ex­cep­tional wine at their in­au­gu­ral Oaks Day Lun­cheon — a fit­ting lo­ca­tion given the re­gion’s worl­drenowned equine fa­cil­i­ties.

Hosted on the Muse Restau­rant Ter­race over­look­ing the Goul­burn River, and sur­rounded by Mitchel­ton’s im­pres­sive vine­yard, guests can don their Spring Rac­ing best while feast­ing on a lunch that cel­e­brates ex­cep­tional sea­sonal pro­duce paired with out­stand­ing wine.

It will be a day of deca­dence, fem­i­nin­ity, style and en­ter­tain­ment.

Guests will en­joy the new Preece King Val­ley Pros­ecco fol­lowed by a be­spoke three­course lunch made with the re­gion’s finest spring pro­duce, pre­pared by Muse ex­ec­u­tive chef Dan Hawkins, and paired with matched wines by Mitchel­ton’s head som­me­lier.

Prizes and give­aways will take place on the day.

Mitchel­ton’s Oaks Day lun­cheon will be held on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 8 at noon. The cost is $80 per per­son, and in­cludes a glass of the new Preece Pros­ecco on ar­rival plus a three-course lunch with matched wines. Book­ings are essen­tial, phone 5736 2225.
