The Christ­mas catered lunch will be held on De­cem­ber 17. An­thony Te­nace (Elvis) will again en­ter­tain us.

Card re­sults saw 500 won by Des Brand, and euchre by Clive Roy­als.

Bowls was won by Bill Ho­gan, John Arm­strong and Mar­garet Rid­ing­ton.

Happy birth­day to Ber­rie Brodie, Elaine Con­si­dine, Pearl Dob­bin, Daphne El­lis, Man­fred Hilde­brand, Clive Roy­als, Jan­ice Short, Josie Wiggett and Gla­dys Zam­betta who are cel­e­brat­ing this month.

sec­re­tary On Fri­day our group is off on an ad­ven­ture to Coombe Es­tate, Li­ly­dale.

We will en­joy the tour of the grounds and gar­dens, and have a Devon­shire tea.

Lunch will be at Yarra Glen and like­wise a visit to


the choco­late shop on the way home.

Pick-up times are Nagam­bie (St Malachy’s) at 8 am, Avenel (hall) at 8.15 am, Sey­mour (new ser­vice sta­tion near McDon­ald’s) at 8.30 am.

Our Christ­mas cel­e­bra­tory lunch is just four weeks away, so book­ings are needed as soon as pos­si­ble for cater­ing re­quire­ments.

The lunch is on De­cem­ber 6 at the Avenel Ho­tel.

The cost of $25 in­cludes a two-course meal, tea and cof­fee.
