Coo-Wee Ride fundraiser

The Coo-Wee Ride is hav­ing a bush dance this Sun­day to raise funds for farm­ing and vet­eran fam­i­lies who are do­ing it tough.

Ev­ery­one is in­vited for a top af­ter­noon of fam­ily fun.

The event will be held at the Euroa Third Age Clu­b­rooms (Kirk­land Ave) from 2 pm to 4 pm.

‘‘Come along to our an­nual bush dance to raise funds for vet­er­ans and farm­ers suf­fer­ing hard­ship and men­tal health is­sues,’’ or­gan­iser Matt Aldridge said.

‘‘The leg­ends from Bush­wazee will be per­form­ing all their hits, and many oth­ers, so we hope ev­ery­one can join us.’’

Adult en­try is $10, and chil­dren are free, with all pro­ceeds go­ing to the cause.

Asphalt­ing works sched­uled to take place on Hume Fwy, from Broad­ford to Tal­la­rook, from Novem­ber 26 were post­poned.

An alert will be sent out when the new start date has been con­firmed.
