100 days brighter at St Mary's

- By Bianca Hall

Foundation students at St Mary’s College celebrated their 100th day of school this week.

They marked the milestone with the theme '100 days brighter'.

The day’s activities included making celebratory crowns and necklaces, writing on the topic 'if I had $100 I would...” and sharing their work with each other, including ideas like buying houses and giving to those less fortunate.'

The Foundation students completed a 100-second challenge where they had to count how many star jumps, hops and pushups they could complete in 100 seconds.

After recess, the students made towers out of 100 dominoes, playing cards, cups and paddle-pop sticks.

They day was rounded out with a shared lunch.

It was a cheerful day of celebration, although the students were worn out after their efforts.

Although 100 days marks a significant milestone, it is just the beginning for these bright Foundation students, with many more days of fun and learning to come.
