The round 18 win at the weekend may linger in the minds of Seymour players and supporters for days to come.

Despite walking away with a 78-point win, Seymour missed out on finals action in soul crushing circumstances.

The triumph at Deakin Reserve over Shepparton United was a chance for supporters to see some of the club’s classy performers in full swing.

VFL talent Louis Pinnuck was a standout in his first appearance for the club.

The Werribee defender, who has nominated Seymour as his home club, showcased why he is a valued member of the VFL outfit.

Thanks to GVL Data, we can highlight that Pinnuck had 33 disposals as he patrolled the half-back flanks and wings at Deakin Reserve.

The Strathmerton export chalked up eight inside 50s and six rebound 50s to go along with his three score assists.

Meanwhile, Seymour was able to flex its muscles against a gallant United outfit.

The Lions owned possession with +46 disposals, +33 marks and +15 contested possessions.

The Lions used the ball at 72 per cent efficiency by foot, compared to United’s 54 per cent.

However, United was able to win the clearance count (39-24).
