Key, remote stolen

A car key and garage remote have been stolen from a house in Wallan.

The theft happened between 10pm on Sunday, October 9, and Monday, October 10.

The offender is believed to have gained access to the Boronia Ave house through an open bathroom window or manhole in the ceiling.

Number plate removed from parked car

The front number plate has been stolen from a vehicle parked on Kean Rd, Nagambie, between Thursday, October 13, and Friday, October 14.

One-way anti-theft screws can prevent number plates from being stolen and used for further crimes.

Trailer taken

A trailer has been stolen from an Avenel school.

The red 7x5 tandem axel trailer had a 900mm cage around it and was secured with a trailer lock, which was cut with bolt cutters.

It was stolen between 5pm on Thursday, October 13, and 6.40pm on Friday, October 14.

Theft of convenienc­e

A brand new laptop was among items stolen from a car parked outside a convenienc­e stall in Tooborac.

A blue coat, black leather bag and about $600 of medication was also stolen.

The theft happened about 12.30pm on Saturday, October 15.

Window smashed

Police are investigat­ing after a bedroom window of a house on McDonald Dve, Wandong, was smashed.

The incident occurred between noon on October 1 and 9.30am on October 13.

The offender is believed to have been disturbed by a neighbour’s dog. No entry was gained.
