Seymour’s Taste of the Goulburn postponed
The Taste of the Goulburn has been postponed after record flooding in Seymour.
As the rain continued to fall last week, with many residents evacuating their homes, the committee made the decision to postpone the event.
“The committee are deeply disappointed, but felt in the circumstances it necessary for all involved and for the safety of the community to make this difficult decision,” organiser Jen Fitzpatrick said.
The committee had previously hoped the rain would have subsided in time for the event.
The committee plans to decide on a new date in the next few days.
