Unless you’re in the business of renovating and selling homes, you probably haven’t had the chance to change your curtains or blinds before.
Most last around 10 to 20 years, depending on whether they are used inside or outside, and so if chosen wisely they are going to be there for a very long time.
“Often when people are renovating they’ll do one room at a time, so we can do that and be back in six months to do another room,” Mr Story said.
“And that doesn’t matter whether they’re in Yea or in Seymour. We’re happy to go to Yea for one blind.
“The local communities have been very supportive of us during these tough times and we’re very grateful for that.”
Mayfair Drapes has been operating in the Seymour area for about 14 years and comes with a wealth of experience.

Mayfair Drapes does all its own sewing and produces all its drapes, sheers and curtains in its showroom on Emily St.
All blinds are Australian made and come from local suppliers.
“Often there is no one perfect covering,” Mr Story said.
“We’ll spend as much time as needed talking about the positives and negatives of different fabrics and products so that people can make the best decision.
“We deal with everybody, whether they’re a young couple moving into their first home, renovators, or people who’ve been living in the same house for a long time and their blinds are due for an update.”
Mayfair Drapes can install or service all curtains, blinds, sun drops and even verandah blinds. Team members carry all their blind samples with them and are happy to drive out on site to provide a free, noobligation measure and quote.
