The Invaders in 1977. A formidable athlete with a bulletproof cloak, he joined wartime superteam the Crusaders before inheriting Captain America’s role when Steve Rogers went missing in action. He was killed in 1946, crushed by a robot while saving a young JFK. A nation salutes his bravery.
