Features 100 lists, divided into eight themed sections: Starfleet personnel, alien races, future technology/ spaceships and so on.

Coming up with that many interesting lists is tricky, and a fair few – like a catalogue of holodeck programs – are a bit dry.

The prose would really have benefited from a bit more of a sense of humour.

The more entertaining lists tend to be more visually orientated – like the ones which grab every use of the Vasquez Rocks location, or different appearances by recycled props.

Favourite fact we gleaned: a green and yellow flowered dress crops up in three different Trek series and two films!
