SEASON 12 FALLOUT

JENSEN ACKLES “Literally with Cas (Misha Collins) [dead] at Dean’s feet is where we [returned]. It’s interesting because Mom [Samantha Smith] is presumably dead, Crowley [Mark Sheppard] just killed himself and Kelly [Courtney Ford] is gone. It’s too much for Dean to process in that moment so he does the thing he knows how to do best which is neutralise the threat. Lucifer’s son, Jack, is something he can hit. Luckily, Sam stops him and tries to talk sense into him.” JARED PADALECKI “I think Sam’s hiding some things in his optimism. I think he’s really making the decision of not dealing with things he needs to deal with. Sam hasn’t dealt with Mom, Cas, even Crowley. Sam is pushing his feelings down a bit and we’ll see it all blow up eventually.”

BLOOD BROTHERS

PADALECKI “I think Sam sees a lot of himself in Jack. Sam was meant to do evil things as well. He had demon blood in him before he was one year old. I think Sam might wonder if that’s how Dean feels about him still.”

THOSE DARN KIDS!

ACKLES “Everybody is super-excited for the ScoobyDoo animated episode [set to air in 2018]. We did the voiceover back in February and we’ve seen some renderings. There will be a little live action in the beginning and that leads us into Scooby-land. I’m psyched about it.”

HAPPY TRAILS, HUNTERS?

PADALECKI “Our season is going to be a season of waterworks. It’s going to be really, really difficult. I love these guys. I feel very close to Sam. I don’t think it will ever be goodbye. I think I’ll say, ‘See ya later.’”
