When a slacker who fixes arcade machines is left a mystery circuitboard, he installs it in a cabinet, unleashing a game which warps both mind and body. Yep, this DTV four-hander is a Videodrome knock-off, swapping a pulsating TV set for gooey joysticks and sensually fingered fire buttons.

David Cronenberg fans may find the homage endearing, and the central geek romance is sweet. But the big twist is risible and predictable, and there isn’t enough story here to sustain a feature.
