The Eyre Affair was the first novel in Fforde’s to date seven-volume “Thursday Next” sequence. The next book in the series has the working title of Dark Reading Matter.

Random Fact

Fforde went to Dartington Hall, a progressive boarding school. “It was where wealthy, middleclass parents sent slightly troublesome children they didn’t know what to do with, and I think I was one of those.”
