GLOVE CONQUERS ALL
Four more mittens you don’t wanna mess with
Pro tip: don’t provoke the version of Time Lord President Rassilon played by Timothy Dalton in Doctor Who’s “The End Of Time” by offering some unwanted advice. If you do, he might zap you to atoms with this fearsome weapon.
FREDDY KRUEGER’S GLOVE
A Nightmare On Elm Street’s dream invading bogeyman made his signature weapon himself, welding together fishing knives and bits of old pipe and attaching them to an old leather work glove. Hey, he might be a child killer, but at least he’s recycling.
THE TIME GAUNTLET
Red Dwarf episode “The Inquisitor” features a Simulant of the same name, who travels through time visiting every soul in history. Those who’ve “lived without merit” are erased with his time manipulating gauntlet. Bad news for the TOWIE cast.
THE RESURRECTION GAUNTLET
Recovered from Cardiff Bay by Torchwood after falling through the Rift, this artefact was capable of reviving the dead – but only for a few minutes. Its left-hand equivalent was later used to resurrect Owen Harper, leaving him walking and talking but still clinically dead.
