Perhaps the second season of this nostalgic homage to the ’80s wasn’t quite as on the ball as its first year, but you can’t deny it had its moments – the gifs of Sheriff Hopper dad-dancing will live forever. The plot of season three (out of a projected five, upped from the original four due to the show’s success) is being kept under wraps: all we know is that it takes place one year later, and a new mall will be arriving in the town of Hawkins. There’s no news on what the Big Bad will be this time round (our theory: ’80s malls = zombies, yes/no?), but Cary Elwes will be playing a slimy politician.
