Zone showrunner/host Jordan Peele, adding that the series used to “hold a mirror up to society”. Hmm... a Black Mirror, perhaps? You can’t help but wonder if a new Twilight
Zone is really filling a gap no other show is filling, but of course we can’t judge until we see it, and success or failure is all in the execution. And given that Peele did such a fantastic job of subverting expectations with his Oscarnominated horror-thriller-comedy Get Out, chances are he’ll step into Rod Serling’s shoes and find them a snug fit.
