Autumn! At last! Carved pumpkins and lots of new TV series to get excited about.

My favourite band, Keane, are back with a great new album. Looking forward to seeing them on tour.

Gutted that my trip to Halloween Horror Nights is over, but you can read the review on the SFX website!

It’s more a thriller than a horror, but the Blu-ray of 1970’s And Soon The Darkness is well worth a look.

My girlfriend laughed at the Zygons. I’m trying to forgive her.

I’m glad I once got the chance to tell Terrance Dicks that his Doctor Who books got me into reading.

Loved the Gringotts Bank sets at Warner Bros Studios Tour. Their attention to detail is simply staggering.

I can’t help but marvel at the awesome engineering behind Lego’s new Star Destroyer, but 4700 grey bricks isn’t the most thrilling. Give me the corneamelting Unikitty Cloud Cuckoo Palace playset any day.

As a callow 13-year-old I was blown away by T2: Judgement Day (and its awesome Guns N’ Roses tune!) so I’m very excited about Terminator: Dark Fate. Bring it on!

Like the big fella himself, Stephen King, I’ve never been a big fan Kubrick’s take on The Shining. I hope the movie of Doctor Sleep does the book justice.

Enjoyed Marvel #1000, especially Toby Whithouse’s Night Raven tale. Always one of my favourite characters, and long overdue a proper resurrection. “Where brooding darkness spreads its evil wings…”

Exhumed my box set of ’70s supernatural drama The Omega Factor. Perfect cosy-creepy fare for these autumn nights.
