Nothing to do with Justin Hawkins, this ’80s-set slasher follows three young women travelling to see their favourite metal band, as Satanic slayings spread across the country. When they invite three dudes back to theirs, all hell breaks loose. What could have been a Scream-style headbanger is played with predictable chords, with an absence of ambiguity meaning that a brilliant chorus is telegraphed too soon to have an impact afterwards.
