Released to stream at home due to the closure of cinemas, this sequel to 2016’s gurning toy parade is, somehow, a right laugh. It shouldn’t be: it’s an often headache-inducing mixture of rainbows, glitter and split-second editing, thankfully better suited to your TV than a big screen (the nausea!). Yet the fact that it riffs on everything from Scott Pilgrim to Mad Max: Fury Road is a delight, and the plot is just audacious enough to work. Bloody barmy.
