This teen vampire flick puts an LGBTQ+ spin on The Lost Boys. Laurel (Supergirl’s Nicole Maines) moves to LA for the summer and gets forcibly inducted into a gang of lesbian vampires who are preying on internet trolls.

It’s clear that Bit was made with good intentions, but it nibbles rather than bites, hinting at larger themes (Laurel is trans, but the word is never used) while never really exploring them or letting you feel what she’s going through. It’s fun, but that’s all.
