This wellintentioned but dopey US college slasher justifies its existence with one moment of gloopy practical gore, when the undead former “pledge” who’s been making Hell Week an actual, y’know, hell week stickily emerges from inside a frat boy. It’s jaw-dropping. But then it’s over, and so’s the fun.

The rest of the horror comes from how physically revolting teenagers are: not as interesting as the filmmakers think it is.
