Thurs­day, Novem­ber 29 A to­tal yard­ing of 580 head came for­ward at the Wan­garatta Live­stock Ex­change. This was 205 more than the pre­vi­ous sale and con­sisted of 525 young cat­tle, 48 cows and six bulls.

There was a good se­lec­tion of grown steers and sev­eral pens of milk veal­ers. The qual­ity of the veal­ers was very good on past weeks but many were show­ing signs of the dry.

A few heavy beef cows sold to steady de­mand with most cows 10¢ to 15¢ cheaper.

The grown steers on of­fer sold to lim­ited de­mand, with prices 8¢ to 10¢ cheaper.
