Identity of males in violent incident sought
Shepparton police are continuing to investigate a violent incident at a Shepparton premises last year.
Shepparton police First Constable Bernie Cline said a group of men who appeared to be Islander or Middle Eastern in appearance allegedly forced their way into a licensed premises about 4 am on June 5 last year.
First Const Cline said they were initially refused entry and became aggressive when asked to leave the premises, and the incident escalated.
He said no-one came forward to say they were injured after the confrontation, but police investigations are continuing into the matter and help is being sought in identifying the men in the CCTV images. ● Anyone with information about the incident can phone First Const Cline on 5820 5777 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
