Capital works program

As for the big ticket items in the capital works program:

● The new SAM has been allocated $10 million — $9 million from grants and about $1 million from council cash.

● Cosgrove 3 landfill has been allocated about $5 million.

● The roads for renewal has been allocated almost $3.5 million.

● The fourth stage of construction for the Welsford St upgrade has been allocated $3.1 million.

● The Maude St upgrade — comprising High St to Ashenden St has been allocated $3 million in council cash under upgrades.

● The council’s road sealing program (urban, rural and final seals) is allocated almost $1.9 million.
