Under-40s make most of expanded vaccination eligibility
PEOPLE AGED UNDER 40 CAN NOW RECEIVE THE ASTRAZENECA VACCINE AT THE SHEPPARTON VACCINATION HUB. WE ASKED THREE PEOPLE WHY THEY CHOSE TO DO SO
People aged 18–39 years can now receive the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccination if they have provided informed consent.
The change has seen more people coming forward to be vaccinated at the Shepparton Vaccination Hub, with 500–800 people presenting on any given day over the past two weeks.
In response to the increased demand, the vaccination hub will open until 8 pm on Tuesdays and will be open from 9 am – 4 pm this Saturday, August 21.
The hub is at the McIntosh Centre at Shepparton Showgrounds.
