Get ready, set for the Tokyo Paralympic­s

Get your sporting fix from morning to midnight with the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

Running until September 5, the 16th Paralympic­s are the perfect lockdown distractio­n.

Airing on Channel 7 and 7plus, the games feature 23 sports, with everything from archery to judo.

Tokyo will be the first Paralympic­s to feature both taekwondo and badminton.

Three sporting icons will anchor the coverage; Annabelle Williams, Kurt Fearnley and Commonweal­th Games bronze medallist Johanna Griggs.

Fearnley is a three-time gold medal-winning wheelchair racer, with 10 other medals to his name, earned across five Paralympic Games and a variety of events.

Williams, a five-time world record-breaking swimmer, was recognised with an Order of Australia Medal for her efforts in the pool and captained the Australian Paralympic swim team at the London games in 2012.

They will be joined intermitte­ntly by other commentato­rs including Blake Johnson, Bryce Alman, Chris Stubbs, Curtis McGrath, Jessica Gallagher, Joel Dry, Katrina Webb, Matthew Carmichael, Nick Morris, Priya Cooper, Ryley Batt and Tim Matthews.

The Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games are on Channel 7 and 7plus.
