Look, it’s snowing . . . petals
Shepparton News reader Louise Comer sent through some snaps taken on Sunday of what looked like snow at Shepparton Croquet Club. On closer inspection, it turned out to be thousands and thousands of petals.
A mid-afternoon change produced wind gusts of 50 km/h, more than enough to blow the blossom off nearby trees and create a petal snowstorm.
It was definitely a place to avoid for those prone to hayfever.
