Alleged attempted carjacking
Police are investigating an alleged attempted carjacking on the Goulburn Valley Hwy, Kialla, about 1.30 pm yesterday.
A man allegedly approached the victim and made threats to steal the vehicle.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said the victim left the car to raise the alarm, and the alleged offender ‘‘ran off in a northerly direction’’.
The victim was uninjured during the incident.
The spokesperson said the exact circumstances were ‘‘unclear’’ and police were investigating whether the parties were known to one another.
