TENNIS

SJTA

Shepparton Junior Tennis Association’s scheduled AGM on September 7 was postponed and a restricted AGM was held on October 14. The association’s scheduled start date has been pushed back from October 9 to November 6, this means the season will be shortened by three rounds, playing the finals on the weekend of March 5-6.

The association is confidently planning the season and hopes it can get through, noting it is important for the junior players to be able to get on the courts.

At this stage it looks like due to a lack of certainty, numbers will be down on last year. There is still a small window to enter teams or players, the association would need these by Wednesday when the draws will be completed. Phone Ann on 0413 145 414 or Heather on 0408 579 322 if any player or team wishes to enter.
