Tatura Senior Citizens’ Club

-

On Thursday, April 28, we ventured off to Bright, leaving Tatura at 8am in the rain.

We stopped at the Glenrowan Roadhouse for a compact break, then tracked on to Bright, arriving about noon.

We spent two hours in Bright, which included enjoying lunch.

The autumn leaves were magnificent and the rain held off. We couldn’t find Eldorado.

We returned home through Wangaratta, across past the McKean Wetlands, arriving back about 5pm. A great day was had by all.

Thank you to driver Terry. Today, a woman from Greater Shepparton City Council is visiting.

She is going to attempt to explain the changes on the meals change-over, at the end of June.

Wednesday, May 11, is monthly meeting day again at 10.30am sharp, followed by lunch and the usual activities.

Last week, we had 10 for lunch and 11 for afternoon tea.

Activities winners Bowls: Jan Serra, Alan Brown.

Games: Marlene Pengelly, Jean Read.

Comp: Marlene Pengelly.
