Happy staff mean happy customers

From humble beginnings in 1999, local family-owned business Trans Tank International (TTi) has enjoyed rapid expansion and strong product demand for many years with a proud reputation as a vibrant and happy workplace.

“Solid growth is a direct result of the great work that our team does each and every day to produce products that are considered benchmark leaders in the transportable tank industry,” general manager Ross Buchner said.

“A lot of businesses say it’s all about the customer, and in one sense that’s right, but on the other hand it can’t be at the expense of our employees,” he said.

“We say that if our staff are happy then they will keep our customers happy. That’s why our people are integral to our ongoing success.”

TTi’s manufacturing hub is here to stay in Nathalia, dedicated to providing jobs and contributing to the local economy.

“We regard ourselves as a world class business operating in a small rural area committed to providing stable and progressive job opportunities that are not often available in regional areas,” Mr Buchner said.

Built for the rugged Australian landscape and exported across the world, the Nathalia and Sunshine North sites design, develop and manufacture water cartage tanks, diesel tanks, firefighting equipment, civil water carts and spray equipment for agriculture and civil industries.

The company still has employees that began working at TTi back in 1999, and more than 50 per cent of employees have been with the company for more than five years.

Thanks to this dedication and hard work, the TTi brand is now distributed nationally through a dealer network of more than 200 stores.

“TTi takes pride in its company culture,” human resources manager Carissa Marino said.

“We promote care, respect, collaboration and inclusion; each

employee is treated as an integral part of the business — not a number.”

TTi has an exciting future and is constantly looking for passionate staff to join the growing team.
