Two Mooroopna boys among four arrested after alleged car theft
Two Mooroopna boys are among four teenagers arrested after a car was allegedly stolen in Melbourne early yesterday.
Police said they had been told unknown people forced entry to a house on Vista Grove in Toorak just after 6am.
Once inside they allegedly stole car keys and a grey 2021 Mercedes sedan, according to police.
The stolen Mercedes was followed by police and Police Airwing.
Stop sticks were deployed before the car was dumped on the corner of Huntingdale Rd and Oak Park Dve in Mount Waverley about 8.30am, police said.
Four males were arrested nearby. Stonnington Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating and two boys from Mooroopna and one each from Mornington and Seaford are currently in police custody.
