CROQUET NOTES

The Goulburn Valley Croquet Associatio­n concluded a most successful year with the final meeting and presentati­on of trophies to the Champions of Champions.

The conclusion to the year’s season was held in Kyabram, with the delegates, players and champions all coming together to enjoy a magnificen­t end to the year.

New office-bearers for the year were elected with Trish Pedrotti (former secretary) stepping down after many years in the role.

Her position was filled by Sue van Lunenburg, moving from the treasurer’s role to the secretary position.

Margaret Gleeson takes up the treasurer’s role.

Lea Grant and David Geddes remain as president and vice-president respective­ly and will guide the GVCA through yet another year of advancemen­t and success.

Kyabram P-12 College students added to the event with superb entertainm­ent.

The GVCA president Lea Grant thanked the singers and presented a donation to the school.
